Senior Doctoral Associate

At Young Minds Psychology, I provide therapy to children, youth, parents, and families struggling with a range of emotional and behavioural regulation concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), as well as relational and play-based therapies.

Whether providing consultation, assessment, or therapy, I am dedicated to providing a warm, empathetic, and nurturing environment for my clients. I aim to foster a non-judgemental, collaborative and safe therapeutic space, where the client’s unique needs are fully understood, achievable treatment goals are set, and progress is monitored closely through ongoing communication.

I am in the final stages of completing my Ph.D. in Clinical-Developmental Psychology, with additional specialized training in Clinical Neuropsychology. I have held positions at Family Psychology Centre, the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), Kindercare Pediatrics, and the Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Program at McMaster Children’s Hospital. Additionally, I conducted program evaluation for Autism Ontario and was a mentor for the Autism Spectrum Disorders Mentorship Program (AMP) at York University for a number of years. My research interests include investigating suicide risk factors in adults with epilepsy.
