About Us
We provide psychological support for children, teens, and families.
Our first priority is get to know you, so that we can fully understand your unique needs. We then develop a targeted treatment plan together, using evidence based approaches.

We highly value the parent-child relationship and believe that parent involvement is integral to children’s mental health.
We involve parents as much as we can so that they do not feel left out of the process and can support their children and teens, day in and day out. We help the whole family get better at recognizing, understanding, and feeling feelings; rather than being pulled around by their feelings in different directions and not knowing how to cope in a healthy way.
-
We understand that many people seeking services may have experienced trauma, which is why we provide trauma informed care.
We believe in the importance of assessing for, and understanding how, trauma may be contributing to your current challenges. We provide you with a safe, collaborative, and caring environment which allows you the space to explore these experiences when you are ready.

We help use emotions as a guidance system to meet the needs of children and youth.
We help parents see mental health symptoms as methods of communicating emotional needs and ways of coping when no other options seem available. We then help children and their families find healthier ways of communicating their needs and managing difficult feelings.
We use evidence based treatments, including, but not limited to:
Emotion Focused Skills Training (EFST)
Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT)
Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)
Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT- informed)
Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
