Dr. Ellen Drumm
Ph.D., C.Psych.
Clinical Psychologist
I am a clinical psychologist offering therapy services to children/youth and their parents at Young Minds Psychology. I work with families grappling with ‘stuckness’ in the face of life’s many challenges. Whether stuck in feelings of anxiety, sadness, shame, or anger, or stuck replaying memories and repeating patterns of behaviours and interactions, ‘stuckness’ can overwhelm everyday experiences of connection, playfulness, and joy. I take a collaborative, trauma-informed, and emotion-focused approach in helping families build a way forward.
I received my M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, and I have held positions at the SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Family Psychology Centre, and Toronto District School Board. Alongside my work at Young Minds Psychology, I currently provide assessment, consultation, and intervention services with the York Region District School Board.
