Alexandra Guizzetti
M.Psy.
Doctoral Resident
I am a dedicated clinician, passionate about supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. I hold a Master of Psychology (M.Psy) degree from Adler Graduate Professional School and am currently completing my doctoral-level residency as part of my ongoing professional training.
My clinical experience includes private practice and school board settings, where I have conducted comprehensive psychological assessments and provided evidence-based therapy. I have worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning difficulties, attention deficits (ADHD), anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD), phobias, behavioural difficulties, and social-emotional concerns.
My primary therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I strive to create a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment where clients can openly express themselves, while also empowering them to overcome challenges, build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and foster positive change and personal growth.
